1) Use Hot water to crumble the flour
Using hot water to crumble the flour, makes the puttu soft and follow the usual puttu recipe
2) Grid the crumbled mix in a mixer grinder
Once the flour is crumbled to form a moist mixture, grind it in a mixer grinder, Doing this will break all hard balls formed during the mixing process and the mix will be soft.
3) Add a spoon of dry flour
Add a spoon of dry flour to the grinded mixture and grind it again to make it extra soft.
4) Try using coconut milk while mixing the flour
Along with hot water, adding some coconut milk while crumbling enhances the taste of the flour.
5) Loosely fill the mixer in the puttu maker
While filling the moist mixture in the puttu maker, do remember to fill it loosely. Do not press the mix after putting it into the maker.
